Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
This memorial website was created in the memory of my brother, Douglas Lowe who was born in  Salisbury Maryland on March 29, 1978 and passed away on July 31, 2004 at the age of  26.

My brother  was killed instantly in a motorcyle accident when another vehicle made an illegal u-turn right in front of him.  The sad part is that the person driving the car that cut my brother off walked out only charged $275 fine and 3 points on his driving record.  Because this person was a disabled vet and he claimed he had no money the judge dropped the fine down to $75.  Our family didn't want the guy to go to jail but at least he should have had his licenses removed for maybe a year so he had to think about what he did. We wanted him to be inconvienced for awhile so he would think about what he did and not do it again.   He had no remorse for what he had done. It was all about how he had been inconvienced because his car was wrecked.  Something just doesnt seem fair with the court system
..

There are so many innocent people being killed in Motor cycle accidents today. Some of which could be avoided if people in cars or trucks would just pay more attention when they are behind the wheel or not be in such a hurry to get where they are going and make bad decisions.  Where you are driving to isn't going anywhere but you could be the reason someone else leaves this world forever or even yourself.

My brother was liked and loved by all who knew him.  No matter how bad he was feeling or how bad his day was going he would always try and make others laugh to brighten their day.  My brother will always be remembered for his kindness for others, his sense of humor, his silliness, and most of all his generosity.  No matter what he was doing he would always find time to help others whether a friend needed help moving, even helping a friend hang dry wall after working a long day himself and knowing nothing about hanging dry wall.  Most of all Doug will be remembered for being the best son and brother a parent or sister could ever have.  Your gone from our touch but never our hearts.

I know how much you loved the beach!

I encourage anyone who has a story about Doug to please add it to the tribute section.  We would love to hear stories that maybe we haven't heard already and even if we have we can still laugh because after all Doug could definately make you laugh.  If there are any pictures you might have and want to add to this site please let me know.  Would love to have many more pictures on here for friends and loved ones to look at.
